Welcome to Butterflies of Wisconsin
We are glad you came to see us and hope that you enjoy your visit. On your walk through our site, please stop to enjoy the remarkable butterfly photographs. As you move from picture to picture, we hope they awaken in you an appreciation for the beauty that butterflies bring to our world, and that you are inspired to lend a hand to help with their survival.
There are lots of things you can do to help butterflies right here in Wisconsin! A stop over at our Conservation pages will show you how to put together a simple feeder in a few minutes, or recommend what plants to choose when planning your garden, or even tell you how you can help manage a vital habitat area.
Of course one of the things you can do to help butterflies is to become a member of our group. Your membership dues help to support many different kinds of butterfly conservation activities including: habitat restoration, educational resources for teachers, and Wisconsin-centered butterfly research. Wander over to our Who We Are page for more information about our organization and our good works.
Please enjoy the rest of your stroll through our site. For the latest information pop in on our Newsletters page, and be sure to include the not-to-be-missed Gallery on your Butterflies of Wisconsin tour.
